This week marks the official launch of our new expanded blog site, with lots of great goodies still to come.  Now that we’re all set up on our new domain www.paranormalcravings.com, we will no longer be posting any updates to this old Blogger domain site.  Go ahead and finish this article then head over to the new site, because all the fun is now over THERE, on ParanormalCravings.com!

We have still our Book Character Line-up running this month. Although all post where visible on both sites this stops now and the line-up will continue on our new domain. We have a lot of exciting things planned for next year, so if you aren’t yet a subscriber (or if you are a current subscriber to this Blogger domain), go here to get all our updates in your email or RSS reader.  And don’t forget our FaceBook page and Twitter (@paranormalCravi)!  As for the blog, we will continue posting our regular reviews. We’ve also got author interviews, Q&As, Guest Blogger appearances, Fun Facts, Quoting Wednesday and exciting new events in the works. Like the "Be my Valentine", "Demons and Dragons Event " For all Demon and Shape-shifter books and "All about the famous PRM series" and our FangTastic Event.

That said, the new website is still being polished, we have a new home page, and some extra's. The free banners are still there but now we also have a new feature "Browse by Excerpt" so you can find easier you next book to read! We are still working on some kind of Chat feature to ask quick questions, authors chat and chatting between readers to exchange books or idea's. The new website is still in children's shoes :) So if you notice something missing or not 100% working, Feel free to contact me.

Hi, thank you for stopping by. I'm Linda Harley, and it’s a pleasure to meet you. I was born and raised on the sunny beaches of Durban South Africa. More than a decade ago I went on the biggest adventure of my life, moving to the United States. I found myself in a strange culture, where people had difficulty understand my pure English, and drove on the wrong side of the road. Some of those experiences are captured in a comical way in my first science fiction romance novel, Destiny's Flower, Saldiora Book 1. Lynn Davis is kidnapped by handsome Lord Kyle von Talion and taken to a far of planet, Saldiora. As she finds herself in this unfamiliar culture, she must learn to fight with a sword, ride a talking horse, and endure the politics of a royal court if she is to survive. Questions we asked Lynn Davis from Destiny's Flower, Saldiora Book 1 by Linda Harley !

What did you do before the story begun?

I was an assistant professor at a university in Georgia, where I conducted research on combining the theories of quantum mechanics and physiology to create a solution for defying the aging process.

What is your favorite part/memory?

My favorite memory is of the summers I spent with my grandparents, Grammy and Pappy. Pappy and I would usually work in his pottery, he was a true artist. Grammy kept the house and the books for the shop. At bed time, Pappy would tell me the most wonderful stories of a far off world where Kings and Queens lived.

If you and Prince Tristyn would go on a date, where would it be and why? 

Well, I am here to compete for the hand of Prince Tristyn, to be his queen. But I won't get to meet him for a few more months. I guess I would like to spend the date in a quiet garden getting to know him.

What are your favorite weapons?

I never touched a weapon until I came to Saldiora. Lord Kyle has been teaching me the short sword, but there is still much I must learn.

What/who would you never want to come across again?

If I had my wish, I would throw Brigieta von Neashop in the dungeons and throw the keys to the sell away. She is the most stuck up and annoying person, and we are always battling.

If you could have a re-match. With who would that be?

Brigieta and I have a re-match every time were in the same room. I've yet to win.

How does it feel that somebody wrote a book about you?

I am very flattered that Dr. Harley has graciously agreed to put my life story down on paper.  She's an amazing friend, and we've had fun writing the book.

And will we be reading about you in the future?

Oh yes, my story is far from over.

Linda Harley was born in Durban, South Africa and at the age of 7 developed a love for music. Her love for playing the piano has been a great motivational factor in pursuing her research in trying to understand how humans are able to learn to perform complex tasks with both arms at the same time. She received a BS and MS in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, USA in 2002 and 2004, respectively and in 2011 she received her PhD in Applied Physiology from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Her research interests are in understanding the mechanisms of learning to perform complex bilateral tasks and designing new technologies which would be beneficial to the field of physical rehabilitation. For example, the design of electronic games for the purpose of rehabilitation at home. She also loves writing science fiction romance novels.

Identifying physical marks: Since I don’t have a reflection, it’s only through other people that I have an idea what I look like. I have been compared to my mother. She and I have the same honey-colored hair, are the same height; both of us are small-boned and slender. Living on a liquid protein diet, however, has honed my physique to lean muscle.

My name is Anna Strong. I am vampire. I have been a vampire for almost two years. 

What did you do before the story begun?

The same thing I do now. I am partner in a bounty hunting business. It’s lucrative, physical, and non-judgmental. I go after bail skips—whether they are guilty or innocent is not a concern. It was during a fight with a skip who turned out to be vampire that I was turned.  

What is your favorite part/memory?  

With my family when my brother was alive—a long time ago. Now I look forward to a future with a husband and step-son…a real family of my own. Something as a vampire, I never thought I could have. 

If you and your love would go on a date, where would it be and why?

We don’t need to date. We have enough excitement in our lives. Being alone with him is the best thing we can do.

What are your favorite weapons?

Natural endowments—super speed and strength.

What/who would you never want to come across again?

Avery—the vampire who was my “mentor” in the beginning but turned out to be my worst enemy. What made it so horrible was that I thought I loved him. He betrayed me.

If you could have a re-match. With who would that be?

I’ve never yet been beaten in a fight.

How do you see your future?

More positive now that I have a family.
